Second Gymnasium 7 Marsi, TETOVO

The first Tetova Gymnasium (High school), Second Gymnasium “7 Marsi” was founded on February 26, 2015.

The school is located in a semi-urban places in Tetovo, Macedonia. It is settled in a new object facility that includes well equipped offices, classrooms with white boards and digital overhead projectors.

The school has 12 classes of students enrolled in four generations starting from first year to fourth year students. There is a total of 81 teachers working at our school who are teaching a variety of 18 subjects. Students in this school are aged from 15 -18 years, from first to fourth year respectively. There is a number of approximately 200- 250 students in each generation from first to fourth year.

Students of our school have participated in many competitions in natural sciences including maths, physics and chemistry. Students’ level of interest in foreign languages, especially English is very high. They won second place in Choral Reading in the Spelling Bee competition. Second and third year students have started working with new books and have put into use a software that enables teachers and students to complete exercises.

The school would like to participate in the project to increase the use of its ICT facilities and to increase the motivation of its learners in IT. The partner school create an English club that would promote English language teaching and learning through the use of technology and offer students extracurricular activities.
