Profilo Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi, ISTANBUL

The school is located in Kagithane district, Istanbul. Istanbul has 300,000 years of settlement date, nearly 3000 years of urban history and lies at the crossroads of Europe and Asia and as a World city. it is also the capital city of Turkey dating back to the 1600s. The district also has General Directorate of State Archives – Directorate of Ottoman Archives that hosts Ottoman Turkish, Islamic, and Central Asia documents.

The school is the longest-established and most preferred vocational and technical high school in Kagithane. As a young, dynamic and modern education center, Profilo vocational and technical high school was a project school founded by a protocol signed between France and Turkey and its usage rights have been transferred to the Ministry of National Education. The students are placed according to the results of the examination TEOG (Primary Education to Secondary Education Exam).

The school has two departments: Information Technologies and Electric-Electronic Technologies. It started with three educational and one administrative complex and has continued serving with addition of another complex. An indoor sports hall was added in 1995, a male student lodging with 200 beds that includes a dining hall was added in 1998 and a football field carpet added in 2006. In total with the help of a manager, 7 assistant managers, 90 teachers and 12 servants, our school continue to serve 1150 students. The school consist of teachers who are eager to learn and holding the school education in the centre of their lives. The school offers social activities for students like theater studies, debates, quiz shows, poetry readings, conferences and seminars continues during the school year.
